The Adult Summer Reading Club is here! From June 13th to August 20th we invite you to dive into "Oceans of Possibilities." Every book you read or listen to will earn you a chance to win one of our SIX (6) fabulous prize baskets. If you're one of the first fifty (50) participants to read five (5) books you'll earn a special prize!
Earn extra chances by completing special missions or solving our weekly "Mysteries of the Deep" quiz! You already love to read so why not earn a prize while you do it?
Join the Teen Summer Reading Club: Oceans of Possibilities and prepareyourself for a whale of a time! Sign-up begins Monday, June 6. Each book read, program attended, or mission completed earns points towards raffle tickets for weekly gift carddrawings to a variety of exciting locations.
Our "I-Can-Read" Club is for children 5 years-5th grade. Starting June 13th, you may register. On June 20th, we invite you to begin logging books, a total of 8 books by August 17th. On June 27, reporting begins; receive a prize each time you read, log, and report on two books or equivalent. *For book titles with 200+ pages, every 100 pages = 1 title. You have completed the program once you have read 8 books or equivalent pages. *May log up to 2 books per day. (Total of 8 books or equivalent pages.)
Our "Read-To-Me" Club is for children birth through 4 years. Starting June 13th, we invite you to register. On June 20th you maybe begin to log books, a total of 30 books by August 17th. Receive a prize each time you have completed 10 books. Books read more than once each count as a separate title. You have completed the program once you have read/shared 30 books. *May log up to 5 books per day.
This program is designed to help children read 1,000 books before they enter kindergarten and encourage life-long reading habits. For every hundred books/points you can visit the Family Department to receive your prize. Once you've read 1,000 books, you'll receive a completion certificate to print and your final prize.
